Grilled Cajun Shrimp Tacos



These Grilled Cajun Shrimp Tacos are bursting with flavor and perfect for a summer barbecue or weeknight dinner. The shrimp are seasoned with spicy Cajun seasoning and grilled to perfection, then served on warm tortillas with fresh veggies and creamy avocado slices. Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions:

Preheat grill to medium-high heat

In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil and Cajun seasoning until evenly coated

Thread shrimp onto skewers

Grill shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, until shrimp are pink and opaque

Warm tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds per side

To assemble tacos, place a few shrimp on each tortilla

Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and avocado slices
