Turkey Artichoke and Basil Subs



The flavor in these Turkey Artichoke and Basil Subs is out of this world, and they make a great meal. Turkey that is soft, artichokes that are sour, fresh basil, and melted provolone cheese make for a delicious sandwich.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb sliced turkey breast
  • 1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 175F 350C

Lay the sub rolls out flat and toast them slightly in the oven for about 5 minutes

Put mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a small bowl and mix them together

Spread the mayonnaise mix on the sub rolls that have been toasted

On the sub rolls, put the sliced turkey, chopped artichoke hearts, and basil leaves in a layer

Put a slice of provolone cheese on top of every sub

Add pepper and salt to taste

Close up the subs and wrap each one in foil

After 10 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the subs are hot all the way through, put the wrapped subs back in the oven

Enjoy while hot!
