Harvest Mule Smoothie



Enjoy the tastes of fall with this Harvest Mule Smoothie that is Paleo-friendly. With apple, butternut squash, and warming spices, it's a tasty and healthy way to start the day or satisfy your hunger.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped butternut squash
  • 1/2 cup diced apple
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp honey optional, for added sweetness
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions:

Start by peeling and chopping the butternut squash and dicing the apple

In a blender, combine the chopped butternut squash, diced apple, banana, almond milk, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and ground nutmeg

If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add a teaspoon of honey to the blender

Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy

If the smoothie is too thick, you can add some ice cubes and blend again until the desired consistency is reached
