Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Cheese

You can get the classic tastes of a Philly cheesesteak in the form of a grilled cheese sandwich. On top of buttery toasted bread, this rich treat has soft ribeye steak, caramelized onions, bell peppers, and gooey provolone cheese.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of provolone cheese
  • 4 ounces of thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 1/4 cup of sliced onions
  • 1/4 cup of sliced bell peppers
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Instructions:

Place the pan on medium heat

Put one tablespoon of butter in the pan

Slice the onions and bell peppers and cook them in butter until they are soft and caramelized

Take them out of the pan and set them aside

Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak to the same skillet

Use a spatula to break it up as it cooks until it turns brown

Each piece of bread should have one side brushed with butter

In the pan, put one slice of bread with the buttered side down

On top of the bread in the pan, put two slices of provolone cheese

On top of the cheese, put the cooked steak

Then, add the onions and bell peppers that have been sauted

Add the last two slices of provolone cheese and the second piece of bread, buttered side up

Between two and three minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese melts

Take the sandwich out of the pan, and if you want, cut it in half

Serve it hot
